User Registration
It is a requirement to be a Grants Online registered user in order to ‘Save as Draft’ or ‘Submit’ an application form. If you are already a Grants Online registered user, you will be directed to enter your username and password when you ‘Save as Draft or ‘Submit’ the application. If you are not a Grants Online registered user, you will be directed to create a username and password when you ‘Save as Draft’ or ‘Submit’ the application.

Privacy and Commercial Confidentiality
The Grant Agency collects personal information, such as your name and contact details, to assess eligibility for grant funding and to contact you about your application. This information will be held by the Grant Agency and managed in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and the Public Records Act 1973. The Grants Online portal uses cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session and disappear from your computer when you close the browser or turn off your computer. Data Security and Ownership
Information in this application is transmitted to DPC's secure environment once you have saved or submitted an application. Your draft form can be seen by DPC staff but will not be viewed in detail or assessed until you have submitted it.

Funding Discretionary
Assessment of this application and any decision to approve funding are matters for the State of Victoria in its absolute discretion acting through its Ministers and the Department. The decision of the State of Victoria in relation to any aspect of the funding application and assessment process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Without limiting the foregoing:

  • 1. where the State of Victoria considers an application to be late, incomplete or indecipherable, it may, in its absolute discretion, deem the application to be invalid and not consider it for the purposes of a funding grant;

  • 2. the State of Victoria reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of applications (including an applicant’s identity and place of residence);

  • 3. submission of an application does not guarantee funding and a successful applicant may not be granted the amount of funding requested;

  • 4. the State of Victoria reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend a funding application process at any time.

State Not Liable for Claims Arising from Application
The State of Victoria will not be liable for any action or claim arising from or in connection with this application or its assessment. For the avoidance of doubt, the State of Victoria is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered by an applicant, including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury, suffered or sustained during the course of applying for or accepting the provision of funding, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. All costs associated with an application are to be borne by the applicant.

No Binding Agreement
No binding agreement or other understanding (including any form of contractual, promissory, restitutionary or other rights) for the supply of funding will exist between the State of Victoria and any applicant unless and until the parties have signed a formal written funding agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, selection as a successful applicant does not give rise to an agreement (express or implied) between a successful applicant and the State of Victoria. No legal relationship will exist between the State of Victoria and a successful applicant for the provision of funding until such time as a binding contract is executed between them.
